  After a layoff of several weeks for renovations and a fresh paint job 
the Eclipse Mill Gallery launched the season with an exhibition curated 
by Mill resident, photographer Barry Goldstein, featuring the work of 
two artists from Williamstown Frank Jackson and Linda Schwalen. Michael 
Conforti, director of the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, a friend 
of Schawlen's, was a surprise guest. This led to a lively exchange and 
update on renovations and programming at the Clark, the Jewel in the 
Crown of America's small museums.
