Erin -

KMS hands down is the best shop locally. They are the most reasonable to
purchase materials from and they are also a superb fit for simple stuff like
cut vinyl. I don't know your level of expertise with drawing up concepts for
signage with concerns for accessibility and code requirements, city approval
etc. depending on the scope of the project, so it would be a working
relationship that would need to develop. I was not crazy about their
suggestions for more complicated stuff (i.e dimensional letterforms) and
they flubbed on the install of one of the elements of the Papyri package,
but I am really picky and have other great shops to suggest further a-field
if the work is super complicated. I will say this about KMS, they work
really well with their clients, so with time and effort you could achieve
the desired result. Regardless of which shop you settle on be sure to get a
fully bonded shop for fabrication and install, especially if the signage is
located in public areas.
