A Few Good Men, Shea Theater, April 12, 13, 14
The Country Players will present Aaron Sorkin’s A Few Good Men at the Shea
Theater in downtown Turners Falls on Thurs. April 12, Friday April 13 and

Directed by Richard Martin of Northfield. Actors include David Grout of
Turners Fall as Lt. Daniel Kaffee, Rochelle Gorts of Greenfield as Commander

People‚s Voice - Seeking Writing and/or Artwork
What happened when an encounter with a book, movie, piece of music,
painting, episode in nature -even the words of another person- became a
landmark experience and changed your life?
The Franklin County magazine People's Voice of seeks art and writing on the
topic “How art has moved you” and artwork for inclusion in each issue. The
subscriber based magazine seeks local paintings or photographs, and gives
credit, and 4 copies of the issue for you to pass along. Send submissions

Northampton Arts Council Announces ArtsEZ Spring '07 Grant Opportunity
The Northampton Arts Council, Inc. is once again running a special, locally
supported arts grant round. This spring the Arts Council will be awarding up
to $20,000 raised from local events. These grants are available to area
writers, painters, photographers, sculptors, musicians, videographers and
all other creatives and arts organizations for projects held in Northampton.
Guidelines and applications are available via our website:
www.northamptonartscouncil.org and can be downloaded as PDFs. Using the PDF
application, one can complete it on a computer. (No more struggling to find
a typewriter!) Hard copies of the guidelines and applications are also
available in Northampton at the Forbes Library, Guild Art Supply, Center for
the Arts Northampton, A.P.E., on the 3rd floor in Thornes, and the office of
the Arts Council, Room 5, 240 Main Street. Completed applications with
support materials must be received by 4:30 pm, Monday, May 14, 2007 at the
Northampton Arts Council office. Only one grant application per person or
organization will be considered. Please review the Arts EZ Spring 2007
guidelines for criteria and eligibility requirements. Projects must take
place between July 1, 2007 and June 30, 2008.
