[Forum] Re: NA City Council Meetings

Sandra's reminder is well-taken, and I will plan to attend on the 24th.  
But one additional suggestion:  We don't always have to go in person.  
Instead, maybe it would be good to have forum members volunteer to watch 
the proceeding on TV (they are broadcast on local cable...I was recently 
channel surfing and mistook one council member's ramble for a PBS 
documentary on seniors coping with Alzheimer's/late stage Dementia).

The forum member could then report back via the forum listserv if 
anything of interest to the group happens at the hearing.  If the task 
could be split up among a large enough group (with members volunteering 
to take a turn), it would mean that as a group, we would only have to 
suffer through the madness 1-2 times a year.  Just an idea.
