of film and English at Williams College

Silent film, live music and pie ala mode after the show! Along with
special concoctions from the laboratory...

$15 for the first three rows

Don't miss the "first American horror film" with live soundtrack by
the Devil Music Ensemble, one of the primary American groups composing
and performing scores for silent films. This version of Dr. Jekyll and
Mr. Hyde stars John Barrymore, whose interpretation remains the most
shockingly energetic version of the role on film. Ticket price
includes popcorn and soda, and pie ala mode after the show! No passes
accepted for this screening.

According to Dylan Skolnick, director of programming at the Cinema
Arts Centre, Huntington, Long Island, "The Devil Music Ensemble has
established itself as one of the primary American groups composing and
performing scores for silent films, and can be spoken of in the same
breath as groups like the Alloy Orchestra and the Tin Hat Trio."
