This weekend marks the beginning of our Eclipse Gallery 2007 season! The first show, Small Work, is sponsored by Barry Goldstein, and opens Saturday, March 31, 6-8 pm. Details below. Hope you can join us.

Williamstown artists Frank Jackson and Linda Schwalen will present a joint show titled "Small Work" at the Eclipse Mill Gallery, 243 Union Street, North Adams, MA. The opening will be Saturday, March 31, 6-8 PM, and the show will run through April 22, 2007. 

Jackson, who received his MFA from the University of California at Davis and is currently Assistant Professor of Art at Williams College, will show his "sculptural drawings". Schwalen, who holds an MFA from the University of Minnesota, will show a series of series of black and white portraits which combine drawing and photography.

Jackson and Schwalen take the traditional mediums of drawing and photography and extend them in ways that emphasize not only the image, but the material and textural qualities as well.

The Eclipse Mill Gallery is open weekends, 12 - 5 PM.
