*ACTING FOR THE CAMERA* CLASS IN PITTSFIELD

*Acting for the Camera* is part of the Learn at the Lichtenstein
creative education series.  This weekly three-hour class is designed
as an on-going workout for stage actors or beginners interested in
on-camera acting. Taught by veteran film/TV/commercial Casting
Director
Jenny O'Haver <http://www.ohaver.net/>, it offers lots of on-camera
time, insider tips and constructive feedback.  Each week students will
be assigned scenes and partners to work with.  All scenes are
videotaped and critiqued.  Students may also bring scenes and
monologues to class for feedback (when time permits). Starting May 20
th, the class is scheduled from 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM every Sunday
afternoon through September, at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts
in Pittsfield.  Registration required.  Seating is very limited.

Jenny O'Haver has nearly 20 years in the entertainment industry as a casting
director and creative producer. Her television casting clients include PBS,
HBO, MTV and AMC, and her film credits include award winning indy films that
have been seen at Sundance, Cannes and festivals around the world.  She has
cast literally hundreds of commercials for major corporations including a
recent Pepsi spot starring Christina Aguilera and a Coors Lite featuring Kid
Rock. In addition, Jenny has worked as a creative producer, developing TV
projects for HBO and AMC.



The Lichtenstein Center for the Arts is a city-owned community arts
center in downtown Pittsfield featuring a variety of exhibitions,
